By downloading or using RunMentor (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. The App is provided by Andrei Simedre ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial training. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where these Terms are stricter, these Terms govern.
Some features require an auto-renewable subscription purchased through the App Store. The price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the App and on the App Store product page before you buy.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under App Store terms; refund requests go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Promo codes grant time-limited free access; they may not be sold, and we may revoke abused codes.
RunMentor provides AI-generated training suggestions for general fitness purposes. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a physician before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have a heart condition, injury, or other health concern. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath. You are responsible for your own safety when running, including awareness of traffic, terrain, and weather.
Coaching plans and chat responses are generated by large language models and may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation. Use your own judgment; do not follow suggestions that feel wrong for your body or conditions. We do not guarantee any training outcome or race result.
Use of your data is described in the Privacy Policy. Your training data is stored on your device; you are responsible for maintaining your device backups, and we are not liable for loss of locally stored data.
You may not reverse engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the App; attempt to extract its underlying models or prompts; circumvent usage limits; or use it in violation of applicable law or App Store terms.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that syncing with third-party devices or services (Apple Health, Garmin, AI providers) will always work.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for personal injury arising from training decisions, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update the App and these Terms; material changes will be shown in the App and take effect when you continue using it. We may terminate the license if you breach these Terms. You can stop using the App at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes go to the competent courts of Romania unless law requires otherwise.
